I didn't make it into chamber exco. Perhaps I was too ambitious. Perhaps I was too tense to be able to convince others. Perhaps I'm just not cut out for exco? Well... at least I progressed this far and I'm glad that I gave it my best shot and learnt a lot from this experience.

Fret not, there'll be many more opportunities next time - so don't cry. Be strong even in the midst of defeat. "One's character is forged through even the smallest of struggles." Remember saying this in your speech? Now's the chance to prove it to yourself =)

I know that my life was never meant to be a bed of roses, so I shall be resilient and at the same time, count my blessings because that's what makes me special.
